Statistics show that people worldwide die annually from skin cancer. The number constantly increases because anyone who is outdoors and exposed to the sun or uses a tanning bed, is prone to skin cancer.
Skin cancer is both preventable treatable, but only when it is diagnosed at the earliest stage and treated promptly.
Skin cancer is caused by too much exposure to the sun’s ultraviolet rays. It commonly develops on areas such: scalp, head, shoulders and arms and legs which are exposed. But, it can also develop anywhere on the body. It can occur on areas that are not ordinarily exposed to the sun.
