I was recently diagnosed with terminal insomnia meaning that I wake up after 4 5 hours of sleep , and I was wondering if it would help to get acupuncture. I have had acupuncture before for an eye tic, and it helped about 75 %. Can acupuncture help with insomnia?

Does acupuncture help Achilles tendonitis?
Long story short I've had achilles tendonitis for nearly 6 months and I dance 5 days a week ballet, jazz, etc. . I haven't taken pointe class for almost 3 months because of the tendonitis. I modify things that makes my achilles hurt and don't do certain things like jumps. The tendonitis has been fluctuating, one day it's feeling fine and the next it hurts. I talked to a women who used to be a professional ballerina and she said she had severe tendonitis and acupuncture saved her career. Can acupuncture really help my tendonitis? I've been going to the physical therapist and seen a doctor twice, but nothing seems to be helping.

Have you tried alternative medicine acupuncture etc.?

Has anyone heard of this device you wear in your ear for acupuncture treatment of insomnia?
About 10 years ago, I saw a guy with a device that was attached to his ear. When I inquired about it, he informed me that an acupuncturist treated him for insomnia. That earpiece applies pressure to a pressure point I suppose. Along with herbs and needle treatment, he says his years of insomnia are now over and he sleeps like a baby now. Now that my best friend, who's a new mom, suffers from insomnia, I'd like to get more information on that ear piece and of any acupuncturists in Southern California that perform such procedures. Too bad I don't remember who that guy was..or else I'd just ask him. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Ambien only allows her to sleep for 4 5 hours but she's loopy for the whole day. Other Rx meds haven't worked on here, nor Chinese herbs.

What does in mean when you get acupuncture in your wrist?

I'm having acupuncture at my physio and I am scared it will hurt?
She suggested I have it for pain in my foot and ankle. She gave me a leaflet that said it can cause fainting and bleeding. I bleed because I am on aspirin and do get dizzy sometimes. I am really scared.

Does Acupuncture Hurt?
I'm a huge baby when it comes to needles. I absolutely dread getting blood drawn or shots or IVs. A while ago I was in the hospital and it took the nurses many tries getting the needle into my vein for an IV treatment, therefore leaving me forever terrified of needles. I have an acupuncture appointment tomorrow and I'm slightly worried about the pain. I've heard a few opinions about the pain that it either hurts in certain areas on your body or it just has a strange quick tingle to it. Is this true? Please let me know how your experience with acupuncture was and be 100 % truthful Thank you

hey guys i just started acupuncture, and i was wondering what peoples experiences have been with it like if it works or not?

Im thinking about getting Acupuncture is it any good?
So middle of last year i had a pretty bad car accident, i broke a few things which led me to have a very bad posture for a few months. I have now healed from that but i have some terrible back and neck pain from the way i had to hold my body while i was recovering. And im wondering if anyone thinks acupuncture is the way to go??
