I'm having acupuncture at my physio and I am scared it will hurt?
She suggested I have it for pain in my foot and ankle. She gave me a leaflet that said it can cause fainting and bleeding. I bleed because I am on aspirin and do get dizzy sometimes. I am really scared.

Does acupuncture help Achilles tendonitis?
Long story short I've had achilles tendonitis for nearly 6 months and I dance 5 days a week ballet, jazz, etc. . I haven't taken pointe class for almost 3 months because of the tendonitis. I modify things that makes my achilles hurt and don't do certain things like jumps. The tendonitis has been fluctuating, one day it's feeling fine and the next it hurts. I talked to a women who used to be a professional ballerina and she said she had severe tendonitis and acupuncture saved her career. Can acupuncture really help my tendonitis? I've been going to the physical therapist and seen a doctor twice, but nothing seems to be helping.

I just got acupuncture and now my leg feels really weird?
Okay, so I saw an acupuncturist for the first time to fix my sinus problems and stress. He put two needles in both of my legs and I didn't feel anything. So after he finished and took out the needles and I left the office, my left leg started to feel really odd. I don't know, maybe he put the needle in the wrong spot or something? So yeah, its been 2 days since and my whole left leg aches like a pulled muscle, did the guy do something wrong? I really have no clue, so an explanation would be greatly appreciated.

I have a torn muscle in my right shoulder and am working on going back to the orthopedist in order to care for it. Unfortunately, I'm out of town right now and my pain has gotten really bad. I'm getting a massage next week and for a token amount more, I can get acupuncture done as well. Is this something I need to consult my doctor about before I try it?I've heard it's very good for pain relief, especially with tendinitis, but can it actually make my condition worse or harder to treat?
