I heard there's a type of acupuncture for you face that can rejuvenate skin problems and tighten your cheeks. Has any of you heard of this or even got it done before? Thanks.
Will I have to be naked for acupuncture?
My chiropractor wants to do acupuncture for my coccyx problem. I know most of the time you don't have to be naked but because my problem is around the butt area I am scared I will have to be butt naked while he sticks needles in my ass and I'm not very confident about my body Gary K It is probably a placebo. Gary K Also it is free because I'm on my under 18 5 session trial.
Does Medicare or Medicaid cover the cost of acupuncture for Shingles treatment?
I am currently writing a theoretical therapy recommendation for a person who is on a fixed income and relies on Medicare and Medicaid for medical coverage. This person has Shingles and I was wondering if these insurance plans would cover the costs of acupuncture for Shingles treatment. Also, how does one determine whether or not a treatment is covered by Medicare Medicaid? Please cite sources, any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Does acupuncture help Achilles tendonitis?
Long story short I've had achilles tendonitis for nearly 6 months and I dance 5 days a week ballet, jazz, etc. . I haven't taken pointe class for almost 3 months because of the tendonitis. I modify things that makes my achilles hurt and don't do certain things like jumps. The tendonitis has been fluctuating, one day it's feeling fine and the next it hurts. I talked to a women who used to be a professional ballerina and she said she had severe tendonitis and acupuncture saved her career. Can acupuncture really help my tendonitis? I've been going to the physical therapist and seen a doctor twice, but nothing seems to be helping.

I went to acupuncture a year ago for palpitations.. the palpitations subsided but they were replaced by another symptom of decreased ejection fraction and weak pulse. When I have high blood pressure I feel great but when it's normal I feel like I'm gonna pass out. No doctor is able to diagnose me.

I'm looking for explanation about " Pak Kuo" I don't know if it spells correctly in Roman alphabets or the eight regions of eye in Traditional Chinese Medicine TCM .I've tried to search online but most websites I've encountered are all written in Mandarin simplified Han. Although I'd also love to know the pinyin characters, I'm actually hoping to read in English since I don't speak Mandarin unfortunately. Does Acupuncture Hurt?
I'm a huge baby when it comes to needles. I absolutely dread getting blood drawn or shots or IVs. A while ago I was in the hospital and it took the nurses many tries getting the needle into my vein for an IV treatment, therefore leaving me forever terrified of needles. I have an acupuncture appointment tomorrow and I'm slightly worried about the pain. I've heard a few opinions about the pain that it either hurts in certain areas on your body or it just has a strange quick tingle to it. Is this true? Please let me know how your experience with acupuncture was and be 100 % truthful Thank you
