What is the right feeling after acupuncture treatment?
I went under acupuncture treatment for about 3 months for enlarged ovaries. Lately the treatment became really bloody, the needles cause big bumps and bruises on the legs around knee area. I feel some discomfort when I walk after the treatment. When I asked my physician, she told me that bleeding is good for my recovery. Is this right? I thought acupuncture should increase blood circulation, with a needle in the middle of the vein, it could cause blood clot in the vein.I know nothing about traditional Chinese medicine nor western medicine. Could someone help me?

My husband and I have recently discovered that my husband is azoospermic. He has very high FSH 29.5 and LH 20.9 and his testosterone is in the normal range although a bit on the low side. After a lot of research we discovered that there were cases where acupuncture has helped to reduce fsh levels and we decided that in the circumstances we had nothing to lose and that therefore we decided to go for it. Our acupuncturist suggested that we take blood tests again to check whether there was any change at all in the hormone levels so as soon as my husband had his fifth session we went straight to the clinic to take the blood tests. This was around 30 minutes after his fifth session. When we received the results we got the shock of our lives because his FSH went up to 86 and his LH went up to 34 whilst his testosterone dropped to 1. I find it hard to believe and am thinking that maybe we should have left some time after the last session and that we should not have gone to take blood tests so soon. Does anyone has any idea as to how long we should wait after his last acupuncture session to take the blood tests to check my husband's hormone levels?
Is two or three acupuncture treatments effective?
I have chronic neck pain in my neck and severe muscle spams in my neck too. My doctor said i could try like 2 treatments of acupuncture and if by the 2nd treatment it doesn't work then stop. My insurance doesn't cover it so, i want to know if paying for 2 treatments is even worth if i'm going to need more treatments to see improvement? Does anyone know?Thanks I've had the pain for a little more than a year now. And tried 3 different physical Therapies, facet joint block, and 3 epideral injections. And none of those work.

How often for acupuncture treatments?
I am going to see an acupuncturist for the first time tomorrow. How often should I do follow up treatments? Id ask him, but he could be telling me more often that really needed so he can make money. I have muscle tension and pain in the back, I feel fatigued often, and I have digestive problems sensitive stomach . How often should I go? once a week? once a month?
