Acid Reflux Symptoms

Question: Can you tell me your gerd or acid reflux symptoms?

Im having pain etc in different places my drs says its reflux but im not sure...

I would experience a burning pain in my stomach (quite high-up) and I would often have reflux after eating (i.e. tasting food after & burning throat) and when I went to bed (I slept with my bed on a slant slant to stop it). I started taking Zantac, prescription, it helped a lot. I also use Gaviscon (over the counter) when i go to bed to keep my acid levels down. Hope this helps Graham = ]

My husband burps and food comes up his esophagus causing a burning pain in his stomach and throat....

Some of the symptoms of GERD or acid reflux involve: 1) heart burn 2) feeling like the acid is coming back up 3) Feeling like indigestion

I have had acid reflux, for me i would feel sick most days till about midday and then for about an hour after any other meal that i ate. I would usually start to feel less sick after id burp for some reason. Also my stomach would be sensitive when touched (just below my breast bone)

My husband has acid burning his pipe and coming up into his mouth especially at night, he takes a swig of gaviscon and his symptoms are immediately relieved.He sometimes gets it in the morning also and he finds drinking milk helps. If your symptoms are not relieved by taking anti-acid meds then I doubt your doc is right.

The same as all the other posters, including a heavy feeling in the chest, sometimes with no indigestion, sometimes even around the shoulder blades and up the side of my neck.

I used to not get burning sensation id just eat and then about 15 minutes later i would be sick uncontrollably.. was really annoying. what places is the pain in? acid reflux you get pain in your stomach in certain places, and it can get really painful. also i got really tired but im not sure if thats common or not..
